Televisions

For this you will need the following:     

  1. Tape
  2. Original box and Styrofoam or Large new box and Styrofoam

 

How to pack:

  1. Unplug the T.V. and gently lay the T.V on its side
  2. Place the Styrofoam on the ends. 
  3. Slide the T.V into the box and place the box upright.
  4. Seal the box

 

If you do not have the original box, you will need to purchase or locate some boxes and Styrofoam you can use.  Gently lay the T.V. on its side on top of a piece of Styrofoam.  Tape that piece and another piece of Styrofoam to the bottom.  Slide the T.V. into a box and fill all the sides with Styrofoam.  Seal the box and label it “T.V.”

DVD and/or VCR

For this you will need the following:

  1. Tape
  2. Original box and Styrofoam or Large new box and Styrofoam

 

How to pack:

  1. Unplug the DVD and/or VCR.
  2. Check the manual to verify that there are no special moving preparations you need to make to stabilize internal components.
  3. Place Styrofoam around DVD and/or VCR.
  4. Slide DVD and/or VCR in their original boxes and place upright
  5. Seal the box

 

If you do not have the original box, you will need to purchase or locate some boxes and Styrofoam you can use.  Gently place Styrofoam around DVD and/or VCR.  Slide the DVD and/or VCR into separate boxes and fill all the sides with Styrofoam.  Seal the box and label it “DVD” and/or “VCR”.
